Longrun Marketing was founded by David Mohring in 2016. It was founded on the principle that much like a marathon, marketing and business development activities are more successful when you take a long term approach to their development and implementation.
David has over 15 years experience of marketing and business development with organisations such as PwC, BNP Paribas Real Estate and Cushman & Wakefield. He has led brand change projects, developed engaging thought leadership campaigns and led successful UK and global bids on behalf of these organisations. Most recently he was the UK head of marketing and business development for Turner & Townsend, the global construction company, during which time the firm's UK revenues grew by 40%.
He studied for his MBA with Marketing speciality at Melbourne Business School. It was this that taught him that marketing is at the heart of business success.
He is passionate about endurance sport and regularly runs marathons and ultra marathons in the UK and globally. His ultra races have taken him to locations such as the Arctic Canada (Yukon Arctic Ultra) Sahara Desert (Sahara Race) Grand Canyon (Grand to Grand Ultra) and South Africa (Comrades Marathon).
